How it works at Pick n' Pack
You give your suppliers our address as the delivery destination and send us a short pre-alert with ETA and packing list. When the truck arrives we unload with a forklift, count pallets and parcels, check packaging and photograph any damage. Shortly after you receive a confirmation with received quantities, photos and deviation notes. The pallets can then go straight into storage with us, move onward via cross-docking, or be transshipped to your own carrier — your call. What does receiving a pallet cost?+
Pallet handling (receiving, counting and registration) is billed by time — kr 599 per hour, per started quarter of an hour, minimum kr 199 per delivery. One pallet normally takes a quarter. Onward storage, cross-docking or shipping is priced separately — full breakdown on /en/pricing. If we should also count and check the goods per item number, control count is ordered as an add-on.
Can you receive pallets from anywhere in Europe?+
Yes. We receive pallets from Norwegian and European suppliers. For EU imports we coordinate customs at Svinesund — our Berg warehouse is just minutes from the border.
What happens if the pallet is damaged on arrival?+
We photograph all visible damage, document deviations against the packing list and send you the report the same day. You decide whether to accept the pallet with reservations, refuse it, or forward it.
How long can the pallet stay?+
As short or as long as you like. Some customers use us as a pass-through point where the pallet moves on the same or the next day; others leave it in warehouse storage in Fredrikstad over time. You pay for the period the pallet is actually with us.
