How the network works at Pick n' Pack

We start by looking at where your customers actually are. If you sell mainly to Norwegian customers, stock sits in Fredrikstad or Berg. If you sell mostly to the EU, all or part of the stock can sit in Strömstad — without a Norwegian export and European import for every order. We can also split stock: part in NO, part in EU. Warehouse storage starts at kr 1 490/month for 3PL floor, and you can combine with pick & pack, returns handling or cross-docking under the same contract. Three hubs — Fredrikstad, Berg and Strömstad

The main warehouse in Fredrikstad (Elindveien 101) sits 1.4 km from the E6 exit at Alvim. The border warehouse at Berg (Sørliveien 141) is 6.7 km from Svinesund and acts as the cross-docking hub. The EU base in Strömstad gives you a Swedish warehouse address on the EU side of the border. We move stock between the hubs as your needs change — without you switching 3PL provider.

What is a warehouse hotel — and how does it differ from self-storage?

A warehouse hotel is a staffed storage service where someone else handles your goods. We receive the delivery from your supplier or carrier, check and register it, put the goods away, and pick, pack and ship as orders come in. You never have to show up to get goods in or out. Self-storage is something else entirely: you rent a room or unit, get a key or code, and have to drive there yourself to drop off, collect and keep track. Nobody counts, nobody inspects, nobody ships. Pick n' Pack is a 3PL partner, not a landlord — we sell goods handling, not square metres you manage yourself. That is the difference that matters when goods have to reach customers every day. We also do not provide a registered business address or virtual office.

How warehouse space for rent is priced

You pay for the space you actually use, in the unit that suits your goods: pallet spaces for pallets and larger volumes, shelf metres for goods kept on shelving, and box spaces for small volumes and start-ups. Use less in a given month and you pay for less. Grow into a season and we expand the space without a new contract. We do not add fixed square-metre rents or long lock-in periods, and handling — receiving, picking, packing, returns — is priced separately so you can see what operations cost and what storage costs. Short or long storage — both work

Some customers need storage for a few weeks: a container delivery to be distributed, a batch of goods ahead of a campaign, or extra space when the main warehouse is full. Others keep their stock with us permanently and use us as their operational warehouse all year. Both models run on the same contract. Seasonal peaks are something we plan for — ahead of holidays, sales periods and campaigns we expand the space and staff up the handling, and scale back down once the peak is over. If you only need to rent warehouse space for a short period, tell us when you expect to be done and we keep the space available for as long as you need it.

Storage combined with the rest of your operations

Most of our customers use storage as the foundation and add handling on top. Goods arrive on pallets or in containers, are checked and registered, and then leave as single orders, B2B deliveries or pass-through freight. It all happens in the same warehouse, with the same contact person and on one invoice.
