    What we cannot ship

    We cannot forward:

    • Aerosols, paint, flammable liquids and other dangerous goods (lithium batteries can be shipped — see below)
    • Alcohol and tobacco
    • Medicines and prescription goods
    • Weapons, ammunition and parts for them
    • Live animals, plants and fresh produce
    • Goods requiring a permit from other authorities
    • Parcels outside the carrier’s agreed size and weight limits

    If in doubt, ask us before you order. That is faster than getting the parcel returned.

    Customs and taxes

    You are the importer

    Import VAT, customs duty and carrier fees may be charged separately. If we pay these for you, we send the receipt and a payment link before dispatch. Any advance fee is shown separately.

    Norwegian VAT is normally not refunded

    If you paid Norwegian VAT in the online store, you generally will not get it back when the goods are sent as a parcel. The tax-free scheme requires you to carry the goods across the border yourself. Some goods, such as books, are sold without Norwegian VAT — then the problem does not arise. Ask the store whether they can invoice it as an export sale without Norwegian VAT. We provide the export declaration as documentation.

    Budget for both

    For goods you cannot buy where you live, the service is often worth it anyway. The fixed costs are per shipment, so several parcels sent together mean a lower cost per item — and the first 14 days are free.

    Frequently asked questions

    How long does it take?+
    We normally handle the shipment within one working day after the parcel arrives. Transit time depends on the country, typically 3–7 working days in Europe.
    Can you combine several parcels into one shipment?+
    Yes. That is often what saves the most. We store free of charge for 14 days while you wait for the rest.
    Is this poste restante?+
    In practice yes — we are a private alternative to poste restante. We receive the parcel in your name, notify you by email with a photo, and you collect it whenever suits you within the 14 free days.
    What are the weight limits?+
    International services go up to 20 kg; Norwegian domestic parcels can go up to 35 kg. The form shows the limits for your route. Ask us for a quote for larger shipments.
    Do I have to declare what is in the parcel?+
    Yes. We need an order confirmation or receipt showing contents and value. It is a requirement for the customs documents, and an incorrect value is your responsibility.
    Can I use your address as a business address?+
    No. We only offer a delivery address for goods.
    What happens if the parcel is not collected?+
    After 14 days, storage runs at kr 124 per week. We get in touch in good time.
    Is the parcel insured?+
    Tracked letters have no loss compensation. Parcel services have compensation subject to the carrier’s terms and limits. Where available, you can choose the parcel upgrade in the form.
    Can you ship an e-scooter or an electric skateboard?+
    Select the lithium battery option in the order form. We arrange a suitable carrier for the goods and route; carrier restrictions still apply.
    Can you send worldwide, for example to the USA or China?+
    Yes. We forward from both Halden, Norway and Strömstad, Sweden to many countries. Choose your route to see an available price or request a quote. Import charges are additional; US import charges are paid before dispatch.
